I've gotten through my first CSNDT34D API call with success.   But I have a new surprise.  For some reason, all the documentation that I've read about TR-34 shows ASCII representations of keyblock.   And after the ICSF call, I have a DER formatted keyblock.   My partner seems to expect the ASCII version.

Does IBM ICSF support creation of these keyblocks in ASCII (or even EBCDIC char) form?  I can't find anything in the APG that suggests anything other than DER format.

I'm revisiting the ANSI TR-34-2019 document and in B.9.2.1 2 Pass Key Token I see a PEM formatted block. The manual then parses that PEM into  DER version of the key block.  \

Seems like I've had it in my head the wrong way this last year.  For some reason I was thinking that the TR-31 header would be replicated with most of its form as a prefix to the TR-34 block.  And to me that meant a character version of the keyblock.   DER appears to be the only format for the TR-34 keyblock in the ANSI and ICSF manuals.
