I was wondering what everyone was using to document their system/map architecture, the components, the prerequisites, the dependencies, input/outputs, the data flows etc.

We are basically using text / Excel documents, but I am not satisfied with that and I am looking for a more visual representation of what's behind the WTX systems.

I have not really found a way to show all the information I want in a way that it is still accessible and comprehensible, but also easily maintainable.
