TN 46 Error Cloudscape lock could not be obtained

    Hi,

    We are using IS 4.6 with a Cloudscape TN Repository.

    Sometimes, when our TN is receiving many simultaneous documents, it is failing with the following error:
    COM.jbms._6._3130: A lock could not be obtained within the time requested
    COM.jbms._6._3130: A lock could not be obtained within the time requested

    Any help would be appreciated.

    We had the same problem… seems like a cloudscape bug. We switched to SQL and there is no more problems. I don’t think WM support cloudscape anymore… Cloudscape shoudn’t be used in a prod environment.

    I believe that my problem is due to records being locked/dead-locked during heavy TN sessions.

    Is there a way to get around this? For example, the console lock-setting in the Repository, or any TN settings?
