Hi Kevin,
please find here the documentation about Perpectives - it is included in your existing installation routine when you also installed the TM1 server and architect:
https://www.ibm.com/docs/ro/planning-analytics/2.0.0?topic=tier-installing-cognos-tm1-perspectives#taskt_tm1_inst_installingtm1persepctiv__prereq__1
The adress would be "localhost" to connect with Perspectives against your TM1-server.

Hello Steffen - Thank you for the guidance. Would be able to point me to the documentation that would guide me to installing PaFE and Perspective.

Hi Kevin,
if you want to run PAfE (= your shown Excel plugin), you have addit. to install/run Planning Analytics Workspace.
In your "lean" case it make sense to use instead of PAfE the classic Excel client "Perspectives" which is also included in oyur installation package.
Best regards
Steffen

Subject: TM1 Connect in Excel
Hello - I am using my laptop to teach myself TM1. I have an instance running in Architect where I will be creating Dimensions, TIs, Cubes, sets and cube views. I have TM1 add-in with my excel. However, I am unable to create a connection. My question is what is the server address. I am not connected to a server. This is all running on my C-drive on a laptop.
Any help will be appreciated.

Kevin
