    Hi everyone,
    I recently completed the migration from watsonx Assistant to watsonx Orchestrate, moving Dialog and Action skills into the Assistant Builder.

    I'm trying to clarify an important point regarding timeouts for calls to external services, specifically:

    • webhooks triggered from Dialog
    • custom extensions used in Actions

    In watsonx Assistant, the documentation is quite explicit. For example:

    It clearly states that synchronous calls to external services must return within approximately 8 seconds.

    However, in the watsonx Orchestrate documentation, I cannot find similar references about timeout limits in Assistant Builder for:

    • Dialog webhooks
    • Action custom extensions

    So my question is:
    Have the timeout limits remained the same as in watsonx Assistant (i.e., same behavior and constraints), or are there differences in Orchestrate that we should consider for future designs?

    Any clarification or official references would be greatly appreciated
