Threads and memory Reports in Websphere 6.0.2.35

    --------------------------------

    Hello people
Need to get a daily report of the all threads and memory use.
Is posible find this (threads and memory use) parameter in SystemOut.log.
There are some graphical tools for viewing SystemOut.log
    Any idea about this.

    Can you be more specific?

If you are looking for the number of threads in thread pools, you can enable PMI and use TPV to view the stats.

    Thread pool counters:
    publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wasinf...

(You can find more info on using PMI/TPV in the infocenter in the /"Monitoring/" section)
    publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wasinf...

So far as memory - - that depends on exactly what you want to monitor. Are you just talking about the heap? If so, probably the 'cheapest' method would be to enable verbosegc.

If you are talking process memory, it depends on what OS you are on as this would be monitored from an OS perspective

    Hello Cathy.

    Thank for all.
I need daily reports, you can use any kind of logs to obtain these parameters.
TPV using PMI and decreases the server performance, we need a daily report
