  • 1.  There is no Data virtualization Tile in Services

    I am new to IBM cloud pak for data.I created a free IBM Cloud pak for data using my IBM ID.

    I am following above link to learn how the data virtualizations can be done on CP4D. But as above suggested I cannot see data virtualization tile in Services tab.Can someone advise in simple terms how I can approach that.

    Hi Suresh:

    Data Virtualization is not yet available on Cloud Pak for Data as a Service, it is currently only available in the on premise version of Cloud Pak for Data.

    We hope to bring Data Virtualization to Cloud Pak for Data as a Service in early 2021.

    Hi Suresh:

    In the upper right corner of the CPD console, click the "Services" icon.  In the services search box enter "Data Virtualization".  The tile you're looking for should be displayed.

    Hi Jeff,

    My CP4D is the cloud version. Not the on premise version.I think you are refereing to the on premise version. Because in Cloud version I cannot find that tile & in the joshua's comment he is confirming that data virtualiztion is not part of cloud version.
