There are no assigned handlers for the headers warning showing while saving consumer provider

  • 1.  There are no assigned handlers for the headers warning showing while saving consumer provider

    Posted Thu December 05, 2013 03:31 AM

    Hi All,

Am working on message level encryption in webMethods 8.2 sp1 with built in approach, instead of using web service stack ( WSS) component.

I have added hanlder to the web service consumer descriptor and given policy name as consumer policy for username, signature and encryption.

while saving it is showing warning has There are no assigned handlers for the headers, while executing web service descriptor header message level encryption is not added in request.

I have one more question that can we have our custom policy xml in /integration Server/config/policy folder and can use our custom policy in handlers? if yes, how to implement this.

    Thanks and Regards,
    Anil Kumar Ellendula

This is pretty old post but still relevant. Did you find out answers to your questions?
