We're experiencing an issue with the Universal Connector in an AWS CloudWatch environment. The connection between the systems is established, but the data takes too long to reach the collector. The interval is currently set to 4 hours (240 minutes), but the collector is still unable to retrieve all the data. It has been running for several days, yet the data visible in Guardium is still 3 days old.
The Guardium appliance and CloudWatch are located in the same AWS region and VPC. The monitored database is a highly transactional AWS RDS for PostgreSQL using a multi-node setup (read and write nodes).
We've opened a PMR for this case, but identifying the root cause is taking a long time.
Has anyone encountered similar behavior in other Guardium implementations?
