    Hello everyone,

    I don't know if this has happened to anyone. I'm implementing a Power11 S1122 server, and I connect to the ASMI management IP and add a new static IP address, but it doesn't respond or ping. I have deleted it, added it again, and also configured it on both ports, but the result is the same; I cannot access the new IP address.

    Try setting the gateway to 0.0.0.0 and see if that works.

    Hi Christian,

    Are you by chance directly connecting your laptop to the BMC port? After setting the static IP on the BMC, try to access it through a switch instead of directly connected.

    We have a similar issue. With a Power10.

    After setting local IP noch connection possible over local network, same IP range and same switch. Direct connect doesn't working too.

    But over VPN (where gateway is needed) it works.
