    The second GA release of IBM Modernized Runtime Extension for Java (MoRE) is now available as of June 17, 2025. This update builds on the initial release by adding static clustering, expanded Jakarta EE 10 support focused on specifications required for Spring Framework 6.x applications and AIX compatibility. MoRE continues to enable unified management of Java 8 and Java 17 workloads using the existing WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment (WAS ND) operational model, helping teams modernize without disrupting operations.

    MoRE is available through IBM Enterprise Application Runtimes (EAR) or as an extension to existing WAS ND entitlements, including IBM WAS ND, IBM WebSphere Hybrid Edition (WSHE) and IBM Cloud Pak for Applications (CP4Apps), both Standard and Advanced Editions.
