    Running with just one power supply is not recorded as a problem as that might be all you have.

    Due to this I don't think it is noticed/recorded if you are running on just the one power supply. For example you may have power down then removed a power supply to put in another machine. You don't really want the original machine to complain about a missing power supply forever afterwards.

    And further you will be informed (errpt and mail), when a power supply is defect or the power cord is plugged off. But I get no Information when a power supply get plugged in again, or I have no chance to check the power supply if electricity is available again.

    I think, that this is a basic functionality, so I will open a complaint at IBM.
