    In a process, whenever there is an interaction with Internal systems or People or External Partners, tasks comes into picture…

    [SIZE=2]The business process interacts with people via tasks. You add task steps to your process model to indicate when in the business process that you want to interact with people.

    [SIZE=2]At run time, the webMethods Task Engine executes tasks. The data sent to or retrieved from a person is passed between the business process and the Task Engine using documents.

    Pls review the Task Engine userguide/documentation for more elaborated information.
