    Hi there,

    Somewhat new to the platform, but I've been having a bit of an issue with device updates on Android devices. We have currently have 5 corporate devices added to the system, with all 5 giving a risk exposure due to missing security updates according to the Advisor:
    Shows missing security patches for android devices.

    I originally had the devices set to update via the policy (Configure System Updates checked and "Install Immediately" selected as the update option,) but this wasn't making the devices update so I unchecked that option so I could try to manually update the phones, but when opening System Update on the phones via settings, it reported that it was already up to date, despite the Security Update being dated at 05/07/18 while the Advisor reports an 05/02/20 patch being available and missing from the device.


    Is there a way to force updates or manually add updates to phones? Or is there no way around this?

    Hi Adam,

    It seems like the devices you are leveraging may not be eligible for the most recent updates.  Watson advisor can't discern which devices can, or cannot, update to the current patches, so it's reading these devices as missing an update.  It's primarily an FYI in this scenario - just a way to identify devices that may be out of date and require updates/replacements if there are security concerns over fixes the subsequent patches implement.
