    The following are from my personal experience on high availability and parallel sysplex  recommendations,

    1. Exploit parallel sysplex and data sharing for all critical applications.(enable Db2 and vsam data sharing, dynamicXCF, dvipa and sysplex distributor and cicsplex)
    2. Isolate prod and non prod workloads
    3. Configure CEC to handle failover workloads
    4. Configure DR for high availability
    5. Try IBM's zBURST increases testing capabilities and reduce defects.
    6. use ARM to restart automation, ensure TERMTYPE(ELEMTERM) and TARGET_SYSTEM(*) are coded
    7. Review IBM Z Cyber Vault which can protect critical business data from logical corruption
    8. Review IBM Z Anomaly Analytics with Watson 5.1, this transforms how system monitoring, detection and managing abnormalities across infrastructure.
    9. Automate cross system recovery actions
    10. Allocate CDS datasets on different volumes and different CU's
    11. Enable CFRM message based processing. CFLRMGMT function
    12. enable CFMONOPAVOID and XTCSIZE starting with zOS 2.4
