  • 1.  Syntax way to format output labels

    Posted Wed June 14, 2023 10:54 AM

I know I can define in SPSS Statistics what gets shown in the output for my value labels (i.e. Labels, Names, or Names and Labels) using the GUI interface with Edit -> Options -> Output.  I'm in Version 29.0.1, but that's been true for a long time.

I'm hoping I can have a command in my .sps syntax file that will set that parameter for me so I know that the output will always be in a particular format rather than whatever the user happened to be using at that moment.

I did some quick searching, but couldn't find that syntax command (assuming one exists).
If it's possible, please point me in the right direction.

    Thanks!

    Hi @Urban Landreman
See the IBM SPSS Statistics Syntax Reference Guide and the SET command re: ONUMBERS, OVARS, TNUMBERS, and TVARS Subcommands.

    Thanks!
That worked exactly what I needed.
