    Hi Silvester,

I am no official, so I can only say that the current info is/was that roundabout May 2025 is the official support-end of version 2.0 which includes Architect, Perspectives, Performance Modeler, Insight, etc.

I understood that the plan is to include all relevant functionalities from Architect in PAW and from Perspectives in PAfE until that deadline. Workflow will essentially replace the old TM1 contributor logic and I assume that might be one of the biggest migration steps for anyone who built a workflow with Performance Modeler.

    Hi Silvester and Grisha,

Please note that PAW Modeling Workbench is having multiple capabilities that even exceed Architect.

    Best regards,

    1)
It is my understanding that Planning Analytics version 2.1 is identical to Planning Analytics version 2.0.9 minus the legacy clients like TM1 Architect and TM1 Perspectives.
As both Planning Analytics version 2.0.9 and 2.1 are using the version 11 of the TM1 Server software, the legacy clients shipping with Planning Analytics version 2.0.9 can connect to Planning Analytics version 2.1 although this will not be officially supported by IBM.
After installing the TM1 Client package of Planning Analytics version 2.0.9.20 ( in a different installation directory eg C:\Program Files\ibm\cognos\tm1_64_client ) on a Windows machine running the TM1 Server package of Planning Analytics version 2.1.5 ( in the default installation directory C:\Program Files\ibm\cognos\tm1_64 ) we could access the new 2.1.5 TM1 Server with the old 2.0.9.20 legacy clients. What we tested worked, including the CAM component in TM1 Server Explorer.

    2)
According to IBM, support for the legacy clients like TM1 Architect and TM1 Perspectives will end with the End of Support (EOS) of Planning Analytics version 2.0.9 scheduled for 2025-04-31 see
