Recieving the above error when attempting to sudo on an AIX 7.2 box that I just installed.  The user that is being used is an ldap user.

I'm experiencing the same issue with LDAP users on AIX 7.2 (7200-05-09-2446).
On some systems, the command: sudo su -

works normally for LDAP users, while on other systems with the same sudo version, same RPMs, and same LDAP configuration, the LDAP users receive: sudo: you do not exist in the passwd database

Login, id, and lsuser all work correctly - the problem appears only with sudo.
Did you manage to resolve this issue?
If so, could you share what the root cause was?
