    Hello.
    We are installing QRadar on VMWare ESXi. What SCSI Controller Type is recommended and supported by QRadar? The following SCSI Controller Type are available: LSI Logic Parallel, LSI Logic SAS, VMWare Paravirtual, I heard that some of them might cause issue with installing QRadar, Which one is supported and you recommend it?

    Igor,
    typical consultant answer is: "it depends"
    • We are successfully running QRadar CE image based on ESXi version 6.x and 7.0 on different servers using SCSI Controller type LSI Logic Parallel.
    • For standard QRadar image however the installation guide says "Step 11: In the SCSI controller pane, select VMware Paravirtual and click Next"
