  • 1.  Stop IS when started as a application on windows 2000 server

    Hi there,

Would any one know how to stop IS when started as a application on windows 2000 server ?

I guess it should be possible to write a stop script the same way as there is a start script, but I could not find a solution.

    Rgds,

    Thomas

Open the Administrator in the browser (http://host:5555) and in the right top corner there is a link to stop the server.

Thanks for this answer, but this is not what I am looking for …

I need to schedule my server to stop, this is why I need to have a instruction I can schedule to stop it.

    Any idea ?

    Hey Thomas,
Check the WmRoot package and you will find all shut down services there for the server.
