  • 1.  Stop Generating SETROPTS GENERIC(DATASET) REFRESH Commands

    Is there an option to stop zSecure from generating a SETROPTS GENERIC(DATASET) REFRESH command every time it creates PERMIT commands for DATASET profiles? This is not particularly good for performance if done repeatedly throughout the day and is almost always unnecessary.

    Hi Bob,

    In SETUP CONFIRM (SE.4) you can remove the '/' before the option 'Generate SETROPTS REFRESH commands'.

    Or you can tag the sub-option 'Issue prompt before generating SETROPTS REFRESH commands' and deselect the ones you don't want as you go.
