  • 1.  Start a workflow after a change in an object field

    Hi team,
    I was looking for a way to start a workflow when an approved status object receives a change to any of its field values, so it can go through the approval phase again for the changes made.

    Has anyone experienced a similar situation?

    Hello Odilon

    I dont believe we have an obvious way to do this 

    But have you though of having a different approach:

    • The activity in read only, but  the user can start a "Activity update workflow"  (from the top button)
    • Once started, he would be able to make the change,
    • the workflow then would send the change for approval

    This might prevent users from triggering new approval workflow without knowing
