  • 1.  SSCM and MaaS360 Conflict

    Posted Thu March 05, 2020 02:17 PM

We've hit a dead-end and hope someone might have some insight for us. We use SSCM to manage the updates and patches for all our desktops, laptops and Surfaces but MaaS360 is blocking them from executing on the laptops and Surfaces.

We don't think we have any policies in MaaS360 security that should block them but they won't install when pushed out. If we remove control (MaaS360) from the device the SSCM package will run, but we then have to reinstall the MaaS360 package. Anyone have any thoughts on how we can overcome this barrier?  The majority of our laptops are on Windows 10 1709, we have begun to migrate to 1809 and are getting the same results.

    Regards, Bob

    Hi Robert
It's been years since I used these but have you looked into Group Policy Objects in AD blocking?
Not sure how you would resolve this but at least worth investigating.
    Best
