Hello, 

I am planning to deploy Open Edition in an ARO cluster. Can you confirm if I can use a SQL Server deployed in a pod in the same cluster as the KIE Server database? Or should I install a SQL Server in it's own virtual machine?

Extending, another alternative is that I use Azure SQL instead of Azure SQL VM. I see only Microsoft SQL Server 2019 listed in the SPCR. Can you confirm what option is valid?

Not very sure but databases should not collide as long as you sustaining schemas separately. and connection. As long you uses a supported database by BAMOE.
