Now, I tried to export a table from the output to XLSX. This does not work, too. Though, there is no error message and an xlsx file is created. But, the file is empty and there is another file created containing some cryptic numbers and characters in the file name.
Whereas, when I export to XLS the file is created correctly.
I think, I have to roll back the fix pack.
Also, it seems, that 27.0.1.0-IM-S27STAT-ALL-IF029 is an interim fix, while in the fix central it is shown as fix pack. Quite confusing.

Thanks for your answer.
The problem is, that I can not save the dataset to XLSX since I installed the JRE folder update. I already have tried to use "save translate outfile" from the menu and as a syntax command - which both does not work.
I guess, it is a problem with the JRE folder update.

try opening it & saving it manually to see if you can open it within spss. i had a similar problem with v26 but I think it's since been fixed with new versions.

Subject: SPSS V27: Save translate to XLSX problem after JRE Fix
Hi all,
I recently made the update for "27.0.1.0-IM-S27STAT-ALL-IF029", where the JRE folder is exchanged with the updated version.
After that I tried an existing syntax which worked well before. Now, I have the problem, that data export to XLSX does no more work. The error message is as follows:
>Error # 9755
>The Excel file specified for the OUTFILE is either read only or a protected
>file.
>Execution of this command stops.
Using the export to xls (version=8) works fine. But, this is not the preferred solution.
Does anyone had the same problem?
Or does anyone know a solution?
Best regards,
Alexander
