    Is there any fix for this? I updated to Sonoma today and now am getting the local computer startup screen when I open SPSS

    Yes!  There is a fix for this.  Please see Known Issue DT243265.  There are links to Fix Central to download the Interim Fix for IBM SPSS Statistics 29.0.x.x. Once you have downloaded a fix file (*.zip), extract it and consult the ReadMe.txt for steps on applying this fix.
