Hi @Kristen Nunnally,
There is a lot left unsaid in your post.
- What version of IBM SPSS Statistics are you using? (See "Help-> About" on Windows and "IBM SPSS Statistics -> About IBM SPSS Statistics" on macOS)
- What platform? (Windows or macOS)
- Which menu or procedure are you using to create your graphs? (Are you using the Chart Builder and GGRAPH command syntax, or the Legacy Graphs and the GRAPH command syntax?)
- Tell us about your data: How many data points do you expect to be in each graph? For instance a dataset with 1 million records of x and y observations will produce a very dense scatterplot as all observations will be in it.
- What are the measurement levels of the variables in your graphs and the parts they play in them?
- Can you easily replicate the "glitchy" behavior using one of the Sample data sets and create the same types of graphs?
- It sounds like you are able to create your graphs. is it that things become "glitchy" when you are trying to edit them?

Subject: SPSS Statistic Viewer Glitch
I'm having an issue with my program glitching and freezing when I try to make a histogram or a graph. The screen locks up and won't work any longer. I need help. I have the IBM SPSS Statistics program through school, and I've got my license number and stuff. I have gotten turned around trying to find help and I was sent here. Does anyone know what to do?
