So I installed the SPSS Modeler for the benefit of doing the labs in the SPSS Modeler level 3 intermediate technical course. I am running Windows 10 home 64 bit and it seemed to install fine. Although I am upgrading my PC this year it is still quite a good build 6 core Ryzen 5 3600x and 16GB of RAM with a SSD and HD for storage so no issues there! I use ESET endpoint security on my home office PC and contacted them about the matter. The engineer dropped all firewall settings and it still wouldn't launch! We navigated to the link above fine on a browser and IBM support said because we have a trial licence they couldn't unfortunately open a ticket which was a little frustrating but ok. However, they suggested coming here.
I have noted there may be a fix that needs to be installed. I have also noted that a Windows 11 user said this fix following the update that caused issues with some subscriptions didn't work. As I need to get this course completed I wondered what the best way forward is. Can you send me a link to this fix? I can reinstall SPSS apply the fix and see if it works but if it doesn't what must I do? Thanks for your help.
