I just installed Spss v27 and after importing a data set, I am not able to do any analysis. The program doesn't respond. Also, the windows doesn't seem to be sized right, with buttons half out of sight.

Hello Maria,

normally, SPSS Statistics 27.0.0 is running on BigSur without the issues you describe so I am not sure what is going on.

However, if you have upgraded to BigSur it is strongly recommended to upgrade also your SPSS version to latest, modified release IBM SPSS Statistics 27.0.1 which is fully supported on Mac Big Sur.

27.0.1 is a release with new features and some fixes, so it is more than a fixpack (= mod release)

Also, you can download 27.0.1 for Mac from IBM Fixcentral from below link. You need to register for an IBM ID with your e-mail address and a self selected password to download.

You can use the same authorization code to license 27.0.1 you got for 27.0.0 release but you should uninstall release 27 first (trash)
