spot created from mksysb does not have if_supported

    because it does not support the network interface type or platform
    of that client

    the NIM server is AIX 6100-03-03-0943 , running as a LPAR on power 5 hardware.

    We have same issues before with AIX 5.3 TL7 images and called IBM support, but the problem was not resolved. Support asked to try " /usr/lpp/bos.sysmgt/nim/methods/m_chattr -A -a if_supported="chrp.mp ent" spot_name".
    tried it with this spot, didn't work either ?

    anyone ideas ? thanks.
