    So we've seen some great new ideas and features coming along from IBM with Maximo, Scheduler and Anywhere thanks to Pam Denny and Dave Gasdia's recent visit to our first online MUG. If you missed any of the sessions check them out in the library area.

     

    It got the committee thinking, this is great and we'll be looking into some of these updates, but what about our partners and sponsors of the user group, are they doing anything interesting with their offerings?

     

    So to all our sponsors and partners, do you want to share anything with our users, are you holding any interesting webinars, interactive video conferences or knowledge sharing sessions? We would really like to hear from you so please get in touch.

     

    We're also making plans for the November meeting in Edinburgh, and always we would love to hear from anyone that would like to get involved.

    At MACS we have been hosting a series of free webinars on Maximo covering a range of topics from Work Centres to IBM Control Desk. These sessions are broadcasted and then available on-demand after the session.

    Hi All

    Electra Learning facilitate regular O365 User Groups and this month's virtual event is based on PowerBI for Maintenance and Reliability. One of our clients who is a Reliability Engineer, is going to be speaking about his experience of using power BI for Maintenance and Reliability analytics.

    These are normally closed groups with our O365 community but this is relevant to this group so I wanted to extend to the Maximo community. There is no cost to attend this event. I have attached details of the event and you can contact beth@electralearning.com to book.

    I thought the Members might be interested in the Tech Data showcase on Thursday.  Not only for the content but also the format which is quite intense and focussed.

    Tech Data and IBM are hosting an Innovation Showcase event on Thursday 10th September and have invited Visualise Info to participate as a speaker.  It is Maximo and Watson IoT focussed. 

    10 minutes worth of what we have done with integrating data into 3 D scans and what some of the use cases can be.
