I'm having a terrible time trying to remember how to get a metric to show just Cost or just Budget rather than both.

The example we have:

Non-Property Cost Tag: identifies the non-property costs for actuals

Non-Property Cost Tag Budget: identifies the non-property costs for budget

Each of these allocations are by formula as allocating slightly different depending on their source i.e. budget/actuals

However when try to report of the two costs tags, the actuals are also reporting the budget number causing a duplication of spend.

Anyone know how to get the metric split out so only showing the actuals on one tag and the budget on another?

I've found the reason for the error - at the very start of our model we have the property & non-property allocation in to Cost Source, the Add To Metrics needed to be corrected as both Cost and Budget were selected.

Small oversight can cause a major headache later on in the model, glad we managed to figure it out
