    Hi All,

    I want to allow users to enter special characters (such as bullet points or characters from other languages such as Chinese / Japanese) in my portlet and then save it in database. When user opens the same page again, need to display the previously entered special characters as is. Is there any documentation / sample CAF package available on encoding and decoding special characters.

    There is extensive I18N and L10N testing done w/CAF & MWS. You should be able to use the CAF controls and have access to whatever characters were inputted by the user. This should also be true for output CAF controls. Did you discover a use case that wasn’t working?

    If so, could you please post a sample that demonstrates the problem?
