    WIN 7 does not support VSS. Do you know if any other product that would work well with WTX and compatible to VSS? I know some software like Sharepoint, TFS but they don't really work like Visual Source Safe.

    We use SubVersion, you can install a server at Unix/Linux/Aix/Windows/etc, also the clients ( tortoiseSVN, for example ) can work at unix/linux/aix/windows/etc.
