I have a question regarding translation services. So far, I have worked with different version of the webMethods Integration server (6.0, 6.5, 7.1) on various projects.
However, on each project I was, we had always built a custom “translator service”. So in essence, a service that could translate values from System A to values for System B. It usually was pretty flexible in being able to translate 1->n and n->1 fields and things like that, but I was wondering if SoftwareAG does not provide a solution for this out of the box?

In an Integration Architecture, I think it’s normal that we need to transform values coming and going to various systems, both in values as in fieldnames. Now, as I don’t want to re-invent the wheel each time, I asked myself if there no softwareAG provided solution for this? Some browsing around did not satisify my question, so I figured I’d ask the question on the forum.
