  • 1.  Software AG My webMethods Server and Messaging Server Realm not Starting

    Hi!

    My Software AG My webMethods Server and Software AG Universal Messaging.
    In Windows OS Services all the above-mentioned services are running.

    When I start Software AG My webMethods Server from the WINDOWS tab or Start, JVM commands run in cmd for some time and then disappears.
    Meanwhile, Software AG Integration Server is running smoothly.

    When I start Software AG Universal Messaging Realm Server from WINDOWS Tab:

    Hi,

    when the services are already running there is no need to start them manually from the Start menu.
    Additionally I cannot see any error messages in your screenshots.

    Can you check the MWS/server/default/logs/_full_.log for further informations.
    UM should have some log files at similar locations.

    If this is not what you were looking for, please provide more detailed description why you think your instances are not starting correctly.

    Thank you Sir for your guidance.

    My UM is working now.

    But MWS stops within 2 minutes of the start.
    There is no MWS/server/default/logs/full.log file. Screenshots attached.

    There’s not much to go on from the wrapper log; check/try the following -

    1. Start up using an Admin-privileged user
    2. If your database is online and accessible
    3. If the database has the MWS components installed (DB Configurator)
    4. If the MWS database user has sufficient permissions
    5. Delete and recreate the MWS OSGi profile (link)
    6. Delete and recreate a new MWS instance (link)
    7. Try installing the latest fixes, or reinstall MWS

    If you still don’t come right, then a formal support ticket may be needed.
