  • 1.  SNMP V3 Configuration

    Hi,

    Anyone know how to config Guardium system to work with SNMP V3? What is the steps? 
    I know about the command "store system snmp verion v3" but don't know what next because it's need to be different from SNMP V2.

    Use this CLI command to switch between SNMP version 2 and SNMP version 3. The default is v2 If your system uses SNMPv3, use this command to update Guardium
    Syntax: store system snmp v3

    I did this step but I don't know what is next because SNMP V2 works different from V3 .

    Hi Eden,

    I have been trying to get the answer to your question for 31 days now (open case) and will post an update as soon as I get one from support.  The issue I have is how to configure the SNMPv3 authentication.  I have been unable to get support to provide the commands needed to enable this.  If you get the answer before I do, please be sure to post it for the rest of us :)

    The same issue for me.. there is no any command for the authentication.
