    I vaguely remember you could set up something like this via websm "RMC" (Resource Monitoring and Control) application. There are some pre-defined conditions....you can define your own if required. And the actions were send mail, syslog message, snmp trap. So if it is set as snmp trap then you got what you want. But you need a monitoring agent running on the server to propogate this to the Monitoring tool's management console.

    Sorry but have done it a long time ago and do not have websm to check it up now.

    If i configure RMC, does "clsnmp" command can be used to monitor "RMC". I am sorry if it sounds wierd.
