  • 1.  Sizing question in webMethods 6x BrokerIS

    Posted 02/28/04 05:20 AM

My customer has an SAP system and EDI flatfile system for end to end
integration. The customer insists on having a (hardware) LoadBalancer
for data volume handling and high availability. They are planning to use
Sunfire systems. The volume of documents is not expected to be high initially but could grow later. What kind of sizing should be recommended based on best practices ? How many brokers/IS, servers etc?

    thanks.
    Sam

I hope that no-one will be giving you any sizing on this. You have to provide much more information before anyone can suggest this. Please look at the Performance documents on Advantage, and you’ll be able to tell for yourself.

Definitely you’ll need number of documents, document size, complexity of the integration etc.
