I think that WTX will not initial any thing when the output card is Sink adapter.
But, the WTX will initial the adapter and do nothing when !Create property in the output card setting.

If my guess is right, the Sink adapter will be faster than !Create property.

It really comes down to the amount of data that the card is processing. It starts to get more efficient to use !Create (with a File) over Sink if the data is 100MB or more. You may even see !Create behave better at 50MB (really depends on your environment).

The bottom line is, if you want to save on memory and you're pumping large amounts of data to a card, you should use !Create if memory becomes an issue.
