Hello everyone.
I have some trouble interpreting the significance level in logistic regression. I'm not an expert at all, so I'm sorry if anything I say sounds completely meaningless.
When I run a binary logistic regression analysis for one binary dependent variable and two or more independent variables, I notice that the significance level is different than the one I obtain when I run a single analysis (with the same dependent variable) for each independent variable. Why is it so?
In the two attached pictures, the data set and the dependent variable are the same. ART_DET and ISOLATO are the two binary independent variables.
The first picture contains the results for the ART_DET variable alone, while the second picture contains the results for both ART_DET and ISOLATO. I don't understand why the significance level for the ART_DET variable changes. Is it normal?
