Siebel Adapter Issue

  • 1.  Siebel Adapter Issue

    Hi,

    I am configuring Siebel Adapter and on enabling it get the following error:

    [FONT=Trebuchet MS]Error encountered
    [ART.118.5042] Adapter Runtime (Connection): Unable to enable connection resource jAdapters:jSiebel.
    [ART.118.5063] Adapter Runtime (Connection): Unable to start connection jAdapters:jSiebel: after 2 attempt(s).
    [ADA.448.1000] SiebelJavaConnection.connectFromValues - dataBean.login(siebel.tcpip.none.none://djcrm8:2321/djcrm8/FINSObjMgr_enu) threw a SiebelException: code(4102), msg(Could not open a session in 4 attempts. {1})

    The parameters for the connect string i.e. Gateway Server, Siebel Enterprise, Object Manager, Siebel Server (blank) are all accurate including the login & password. In fact the connect string shown above is what I expect … But still get the above error … Any clues?

    Thanks

    Could be network or firewall issues between your IS and Siebel servers… Attempting to telnet to that port and server is a method that sometimes works as a quick test of network access. Obviously, get your network folks involved as needed.
