  • 1.  Showing goodness fit for each group

    Posted Wed May 12, 2021 08:32 AM

I have created a model in Amos with groupings such as by gender.

It shows the goodness of fit of the model.

A faculty member pointed out that I should be able to see the degree of fit for each gender.

    How can I check this?

After "Calculate Estimates", I go to "View Text Output", but I cannot select each group for "Model Fitting". (Both groups are grayed out.)

How can I get the degree of fit (CMIN, GFI, etc.) for each group to appear?

    Please help me.

    Hi

The Amos Users Guide is an excellent tutorial on SEM and Amos GUI.

    https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/SSLVMB_27.0.0/pdf/amos/IBM_SPSS_Amos_User_Guide.pdf

I think 'Example 10: Simultaneous Analysis of Several Groups' will give you what you are after.

    I hope this helps,
