Hi all, I inherited the management of a windows server 2019 with informix server 10.

Informix server is active and correctly configured and working but from the instance.cmd prompt with any user (even informix) the onstat, oninit etc commands all respond "shared memory not initialized for INFORMIXSERVER 'ixserver' ". INFORMIXSERVER and INFORMIXDIR are correctly valued. What am I doing wrong?

That sounds like the environment variables are not set, or not set correctly - INFORMIXSERVER, ONCONFIG, INFORMIXDIR

Does "onstat -g dis" show your running instance?

Yes, my instance is runnig but output of onstat -g dis is not complete. Some info are "Unknown". Solved with onmode -R !
