  • 1.  SFTP Connection Error - OPENSSH PRIVATE KEY

    Dear Expert,
    I have been trying to connect with target application via SFTP through MFT. I have generated public/private RSA key using openSSH on linux server(without setting any passphrase). While I am able to connect with target application through unix command line but I am not able to establish the same connectivity via MFT GUI and getting below error -
    com.sshtools.publickey.InvalidPassphraseException: Unsupported type: OPENSSH PRIVATE KEY
    Can anyone suggest what could be the issue here ?

    Hi Saurav,

    What is the MFT version in use?
    With latest fixes, this issue should not have been there.

    We are using webMethod 10.5. As of now, there is no patch/fix installed on the server.

    Hi Saurav,

    Please apply the recent ActiveTransfer 10.5 Server Fix 9.
    This should resolve your issue.
