Setup X-Application 3.1.3 with Tamino XML Server 4.1

  • 1.  Setup X-Application 3.1.3 with Tamino XML Server 4.1

    Posted Mon December 30, 2002 11:05 AM

Setting up X-Application 3.1.3, in a Tamino XML Server 4.1 environment, will fail during the “Schema definition” step.
Tamino 4.1 needs references to predefined types of XML Schema to be qualified with the “xs:” namespace prefix. This is done automatically during an upgrade from Tamino 3.1 to Tamino 4.1.
To run the X-Application setup for a Tamino 4.1 database, you need to modify the sample schemas to conform with the namespace rule described above.
The modified sample schemas are attached. After unzipping the X-Application download-file, extract the attached zip-file into your X-Application installation directory. Then run the X-Application setup. The original schemas will be overwritten by the new corrected schemas.

Note: X-Application 3.1.3 has not yet been rigorously tested with Tamino XML Server 4.1.
