  • 1.  Setting up async(datagram) call from datapower

    Posted Thu August 29, 2024 03:50 AM

    Hi all,

I am looking to setup one way call from datapower, something like fire and forget from client to destination.

How can I set it up please?

    Thanks !

    Prathamesh

Have you tried setting up an async outbound call, such as an async results action?

    Thanks Joseph.

However, I haven't tried async result action.

The challenge is that the request rule is being used by other integration as well where we have req/reply format.

To add on, I am expecting XML to XML traffic as part of the requirement.

It sounds like you'll need to break out this into a new rule that can fire the outbound request as fire & forget and leave the other for the standard request/reply.
