All Service Packs for webMethods 6.0.1 are installed using webMethods Installer (version 6.0.1 or later)…

webMethods Installer can be download from
advantage.webmethods.com/product downloads

I got the following error when connecting to the download server:

“The installer could not connect to the webMethods Installer server. The server might be undergoing maintenance. Please try again later.”

Does anyone have the same experience?

This could also because of a firewall issue. If your network uses a proxy server make sure to specify that in the Advanced settings or at the command line when you run the installer.

Every time I get the message,

it is because our proxy server is stopping me getting out, usually due authorisations, caused by system changes/upgrades.
You can test if the download site is available by browsing the url that is in your webMethodsInstaller601, we use wminstall.webmethods.com
