    Please can someone help me to change the password of service account that is running the LMT service.The password is going to expire soon. I got a link below earlier from IBM but somehow I am not able to understand how to start with.

    Updating the database password

    Ibm remove preview
    Updating the database password
    You can update the database user password when needed, for example if the password is changed and users cannot log in to License Metric Tool.

    The crucial question is which ILMT server you are dealing with...below or above 9.2.30 ?

    Hello Dhiraj,

    That slightly complicates the usage, but, still is doable.


    So, do you have a problem with securityUtility command or with server.xml file update ?
    Please upload some command line output if securityUtility command happens to give some unexpected results (like Java related errors).


    We need some more details where you got stuck...
