I have a problem with the setup of the x-application

When I run the setup.cmd, I get the prompts error

I cannot understand that I get this error message, because I can work with the tamino data base (it?s running)

Hello,

X-Application requires a installed and running database. It does not install a database.

Please check with the X-Plorer or Tamino Interactive Interface if you have a database called ‘xapplication’.

If not, use an existing one (e.g. welcome3_1_…) or create a database with the Tamino Manager.

What I would also propose, is to switch your Tomcat version. According to your post you are using Tomcat 3.3a. Please, check your Tomcat Home directory. If it is

…\jakarta-tomcat-3.3.1
or
\jakarta-tomcat-3.3.1a

you have the newest version. Otherwise, could you install Tomcat 3.3.1 or 3.3.1a. There are many bugs related to this alpha version 3.3a.
